Berlin Original Cast Recording

April 15th, 2010
by GreenPanda

The Berlin Original Cast Recording is now available on Napster – as well as on this widget which will let you listen to and buy the individual tracks or the album (although the buy button won’t work until Itunes has the album live which will hopefully be in a couple of weeks) – it’s also got the YouTube Channel videos on it.

Check it out it’s pretty nifty – and if you have the desire to share it to everyone you know that would be fab, the more people that hear it the better – many thanks, TJS

New Ideas, New Month, New Challenge

March 1st, 2010
by GreenPanda

Well just putting together the first of the adverts for the Stage to try and start people looking at the site and in particular the audition songs collection “New Songs for Musical Theatre” – although part of the main website you can reach it by going to www.newsongs4musicaltheatre.co.uk

Over the last month or so I’ve been creating, new tunes for The Tombstones and also getting back to working on The Man in the Iron Mask. The first of the pieces this month is a ballad for the lead character in The Tombstones, who is to be an 18 year old Soprano (who’s been dead for around 200 years) – I’ve also got a melody for the old Professor of the piece, Bradbury.

Obviously with the site being fairly new I’m still trying to push it out as far as possible, so if you can help ‘get the word out’ either by mentioning the site (www.greenpandatheatre.co.uk) or linking your site to it that would be fab.

I’m just starting to get the Tips for Auditionees and Producing a Musical sections together – they’re going to take a while but please sign up to hear all the latest tips and music from the Green Panda website.

The blogsite – what’s going to happen

January 17th, 2010
by GreenPanda

Green Panda Theatre’s blog pages are going to be split, for the time being, into three page areas.

1. New Musicals in Creation – this will have two sections, one on Tim J. Spencer’s new musicals in creation, the other on new musicals in creation by other writers from around the world.

2. Producing a Musical – a set of ideas and tips on producing your own musical, not just dealing with Green Panda Theatre, but a general set of questions and answers.

3. Tips for auditionees – ideas and tips for performing – designed to help you get through that audition and get the part. Again questions and answers not just limited to Green Panda Theatre

The idea is to give an information database where people can post questions and we’ll do our best to find suggestions and answers for you. Rather than just being about Green Panda Theatre the idea is that it becomes a general theatre database.

Obviously that is all dependent on contributions so please jump in and post.

Just launched the blog part of the site

Well now the site has been up and running for a week and the promotion has started I thought it was time I got the ‘blog’ section of the site moving. Here you should be able to make comments and sign up, ask questions and find out what’s going on with the various projects in development.

Obviously the more people that want to get involved the better.

Best wishes

Tim

GreenPandaTheatre.co.uk

Well after a couple of days of tweaking the greenpandatheatre website is fully functional and open for business.

Tim J. Spencer’s two completed musicals, “Berlin” and “Rising Sun” are now online with all the products available to purchase. From the Piano Vocal Score, to Scripts, to Vocal Line Scores and Song Selections as well as the full orchestrations both shows are now online as pdf downloads and hard copy books to buy online.

We’ve created performance packs for both shows as both pdf and hard copy versions. They are available for any group to perform anywhere in the World and with the pdf performance pack only £400 these have got to be shows worth considering – specially as they include a DVD license so you can make DVDs of your production and sell them to your clientelle.

Alongside this there is also the New Songs for Musical Theatre, three anthologies of audition/performance songs split into the categories of Male Solos, Female Solos and Duets/Trios. Perfect for something different for a concert or audition, all the big songs included.

Just for good measure we’ve also put the Panto products, the “Songs for Pantomime” and “Panto Musical Sound Effects” CDs are also online.

Loads of songs to listen to as well.

Click on the link on the right or go to www.greenpandatheatre.co.uk to have a nose.

Best wishes

Tim
